Getting to the Church on Sunday
Bridge Community Church is located at 500 E. North Island Drive on Harstine Island Washington. We are approximately 12 miles north of downtown Shelton, Washington. Turn right from Hwy 3 onto E. Pickering Rd. After you cross the bridge, turn left at the first intersection. The church is approximately 1 mile on the right.  Watch for the Church sign on the right side of the road.

How Do I Dress?
While some attendees do wear their "Sunday best," others wear more casual clothes on Sunday morning. Dress comfortably.

What Do I Bring?
If you have a Bible, bring it with you. Our pastor usually preaches from the English Standard Version of the Bible and uses a printed teaching outline in our bulletin. If you expect to take notes, bring a pen or pencil.

When Do I Need to Arrive?
Plan to arrive ten minutes prior to Sunday school or the Worship Service to allow time to park and enter the Worship Center. If you have small children, you will need time to register your preschoolers in our nursery.

Where Do I Need to Park?
There is marked parking for guests at the curb adjacent to the covered drive through. If those spaces are full, just pull on around to the back of the building to park there. Some of the closest parking is in our graveled lot at the front of our building.

Where Will I Go?
We're just a small church.  A greeter will welcome you as you enter our foyer. This is just inside our main entrance at the covered drive through. Other entrances are marked. If you need additional assistance, our greeters will be available. Restrooms and diaper changing areas are located just off the foyer.

What Kind of Music?
From our inception we have been committed to excellence in celebrative worship. We want you to worship God in a safe environment where you feel secure and loved by friends, family, and most of all by God. Our worship team leads our congregation. The music includes a mix of hymns, choruses and contemporary music accompanied by an energetic praise group. Some people lift their hands in praise while singing while others simply stand or sit while singing. There are no expectations, we simply mention this in hopes that you feel comfortable while singing praises to our Lord.

Communication Card
When you enter the auditorium you will be given a bulletin with information about our church and the service and a communication card if you are new to our church.  Please fill out the card to the extent that you feel comfortable, including any additional information not requested on the card or prayer requests you might have. The welcome card can be given to an Usher, or placed in the wooden offering boxes as you exit the Worship Center. As our guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. Our members support the ministry of the church and you are considered our guest.

Small Groups: The Heart of Bridge Community Chruch
Our small group Bible Studies are the heart of our church. You cannot fully experience our church without being plugged into one of our Bible Study small groups. Ask a greeter or our Pastor to help you find the right Bible Study group for you and your family. We call our Sunday morning group Bible study "Adult Sunday School" and it begins at 9:30 a.m. We have men's and women's groups that meet monthly for breakfast and prayer. We also have a Youth Group Meeting every Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.  There are other groups that meet at another times during the week for prayer, fellowship and special events. We have information available at our church website which is: www.bccharstine.org/announcements

Handicapped Accessibility
Handicapped parking is available in the marked spaces nearest to our main entrance. If the spaces are full, simply pull up to the front entrance and we will assist you.

Nursery through Age Six
We offer a nursery for babies through Pre-K for all church wide events. Nursing moms are welcome to use our nursery room to feed your baby. If you need another location, please ask an attendant in the nursery for assistance.

What about Child Security?
We take child security seriously. If you have concerns, please direct them to a greeter in the lobby. We want you and your children to feel safe and secure in our building.

Please contact us for additional information and questions at 360-426-5221 or email at: bob_thiessen@bccharstine.org
